Black Gram seed var.PU-31 was distributed among selected farmers

Ten numbers of farmers of East RC Ghat Village    was provided Seeds and  training on Scientific Cultivation of Black Gram . After KVK, Khowai”s  intervention the farmers has started Using  Soil Health Card in Black Gram , resulting in less input application with high return. They have  applied  Lime @ 10% of actual LR along with FYM 5 ton^-1.Moreover Rhizobium was also used as Bio-fertilizer @20g/kg of Seed. Through all the scientific intervention in  Black Gram   at an area of 5  ha area,  On an average the farmers   could get a productivity of 9  q/ha with a  gross cost of Cultivation Rs. 50978.00/ha & a gross return of Rs. 72000.00/ha ,his net return from Black Gram  var.PU-31  was found to be Rs. 21,022.00.The benefit cost ratio was found to be 1.41
